What we've got .

All of our packages have been designed with you the angler in mind. There is something for everyone.

Although nearly all of the fishing locations are situated inland away from the coast (and the busy, overcrowded tourist resorts!) it does not mean that you don't have anything else to do apart from fish. There are plenty of places of interest dotted around to please all sorts of people. If it is a beach or a swimming pool you or one of your group are after for a dip, do not worry. A few of the lakes and rivers have bathing areas on them and in most of the bigger villages and towns you can find swimming pools open to the public.

Castles, museums, old ruins (some of which are among the oldest in Europe), markets and breath taking scenery are all here. Also, the regions where we go fishing are renowned for the wealth and variety of regional culinary delights.

Lunches and evening meals are not provided as part of the packages, but you will be surprised how cheap everything is. An average meal in one of the many typical regional restaurants will cost around €12.50 a head and that is including wine. One word of warning, unlike in the more expensive tourist traps on the Algarve, in the Alentejo they believe in big hearty meals and this shows in the size of their portions.

If you are into wines, especially reds, then you will find that you are in the right place, maybe even one of the worlds best places. There are quite a few wineries within these regions and a lot of them, after a quick telephone call, will open for wine tasting.

Unlike some other fishing holiday companies, you will not have to worry about having to get up at the crack of dawn to make at least a two hour journey to get to the fishing locations.

Bed and Breakfast.

This is our full on Bed & Breakfast package!

With this package you can have the freedom of having your own car to be able to go and fish wherever you fancy without having to worry about what any others might want to do.

What's it all about?

The basic price for our B&B Package (excluding flight) has been set for the 2024 season at €600.00 per person per week.

Group discounts can be arranged for parties of 8 or more. 

For this, we will provide the following:

A 7 night stay with bed and breakfast in a guest house. This is based on two people sharing a twin room. (Single room surcharge = €175.00.)

A hire car waiting for you at Faro (On the Algarve in the south), Lisbon (The nations capital in the middle) or Porto Airport (Up in the Northern region of the country).

Your fishing licence/s.

Maps of the lakes and any rivers along with full directions, current fishing information and more useful tips about the area you will be staying and angling in. All this will be posted to your home address well in advance of you holiday.

All you need...

All you need to do is decide which type of fishing you fancy doing, book your flights, bring along your tackle etc and we will do the rest. We will book you into your accommodation, get your fishing permits along with all the maps and information on the fishing within the area where you will be staying and send them to your home address so that you get them before your trip. When you get to the airport (Faro, Lisbon or Porto) your hire car will be waiting for you. All you then have to is drive and fish.

A Days Guide

Due to logistics, the prices are set regarding which "Zone" you will be staying and fishing in.

The prices for the 2023 season are:

Zone A: Our guide service for the 2023 season is €175.00 per day.

Zone B: Our guide service for the 2023 season is €250.00 per day.

Zone C: Our guide service for the 2023 season is €350.00 per day.

No Zone: Our guide service does not cover this zone due to the sheer lack of decent fishing locations.

The guide will meet up with you at your accommodation, or a pre-defined location, at the pre arrange time and on top of the angling, will also show you some of the major points of interest: i.e. local tackle shop, café/restaurant, super market etc.

F.I.Y.

This is the D.I.Y. package for you anglers out there!

This is the ideal package for those of you who have already planed or are going to plan a holiday with your family and you would like to put in a spot of angling too. It is also ideal for those of you who just want to go angling when and where you feel.

What's it all about?

You have two options:

  • €75.00* per person for a full year's licence (January the 1st through to December the 31st).
  • €50.00 per person for a 30 day licence.

(Please note that both of these fishing licences cover the whole of mainland Portugal)

For this, we will provide the following:
Your fishing licence/s.

Maps of the lakes and any rivers along with full directions, current fishing information and more useful tips about the area you will be staying and angling in. All this will be posted to your home address well in advance of you holiday.

* We have had to increase our price due to the Portuguese Government deciding to hike up the fishing licence for non-residents (yes, you read that right!) by over 730%!

What's more...

With this package you have the complete freedom to fish wherever and whenever you fancy without having to worry about finding out where and how to get your fishing permits. Also you will not have to worry about trying to find where the great fishing locations are.

All you have to do is book your flights and whatever accommodation it is you fancy, then let us know the dates of your arrival and send us your details and we will get right on to it.

We will sort out your fishing permits, get together maps and information about the current fishing scene and post them all off to your home address in plenty of time for your holidays.

Booking.

Please find below the details on how to make a booking and a list, above on the left, for the current prices for all of our packages.

How do we book?

1. Check the availability of your proposed holiday dates by using our Contact Us form, or Signal.

2. Once we have received your 'E-mail' we will let you know if your propsed dates are available and payment details.

3. Once you have confirmed your booking and made your payment please e-mail the copies of all the party anglers passports* to:
